I am unable to distance this song (and this entire album) from a very specific point in my life and all the emotions that went with it.

I would sit on the rooftops of Azusa Pacific University and watch the sun rise above the mountains. I couldn’t connect with anyone around me, I couldn’t be myself, but I could listen to Loveless and be perfectly fine — alone in a crowd.

It takes on a different meaning for everyone who listens to it, but I projected my life ALL OVER THIS ALBUM and it really helped me get through some things.  So thanks Kevin Shields?? Yeah.
